Hays County Resident: I currently reside in Hays County, Texas, and can provide official proof of residency (such as a utility bill, lease, or school enrollment record).Graduating Senior: I am a graduating high school senior (Class of 2027) in an accredited public, private, or homeschool program.GPA Threshold: I possess a minimum cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.0 or higher.Loss of Parent/Guardian: I have experienced the profound loss of a biological parent, adoptive parent, or legal guardian to cancer, and can provide supporting documentation (such as a death certificate, published obituary, or physician confirmation letter).College Intention: I have applied to or have been accepted into an accredited college, university, or trade school, and intend to enroll full-time (minimum 12 credits) for the Fall 2026 semester.Legal Status: I am a U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or qualify under DACA (this is self-certified; no documentation is requested during the application).Conflict of Interest Avoidance: I certify that I am NOT a biological child, step-child, or immediate relative of any member of the Meagan Joy Bennett Foundation Board of Directors, staff, major donors, or the scholarship selection committee.
